New elementary school consisting of grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade, including a media center, cafeteria with stage, and an administration suite with a clinic and guidance offices. The buildings shall be constructed of concrete block with brick façade and covered walkways. The roof system shall be either metal pitched roof on metal trusses or modified built-up roof on rigid insulation and metal deck, all on steel bar joists. The school will serve as an Enhanced Hurricane Protection Area (EHPA). Construction will include site work, paving, utility changes, construction of hardscapes, sewer system, and storm drainage systems with on-site stormwater retention. The site shall include parking, bus loop, parent pick-up and drop off loop, truck access for cafeteria deliveries, play areas, and PE fields.
